Making Memories

We recently went out and took some shots for our band at the oil refinery in Ventura, i set up the shots, Abbey Moreno took the pictures and then i did a little editing after. Turned out good, thanks Gail :)

San Diego

So i didn't get any internet service where i was in San Diego so i couldn't upload any pics but i got a few so here they are.

Snow

Very excited for the holidays, lots of good friends are in town and i've definetly been spending alot of time catching up. The other day we decided to go look for snow up the maricopa hwy... we didnt find much but i still got at least one good shot. Expect to see more within the next week, im taking a trip to san diego and im gonna be shooting the entire time im there and i will probably even upload some stuff when im down there so check back soon :)

Somethin New

I Recently learned an interesting way to edit my photos in Photoshop using infrared, gaussian blur, soft light adjustments and filters and i think they turned out pretty cool, here are a few i've done so far.

I had to do some shooting for a class project and I went a little overboard with the sunset shots, gotta love Ventura's beaches.

Busy In October

Life has gotten pretty busy here in late October with the new job, birthdays and events so i havent gotten a big chance to go out and shoot in a while but that will change here real soon. This is what i got for now

San Fernando Valley Graffiti

This weekend I drove up to San Fernando Valley to visit some friends and check out a few graff spots for my school project. We went to two different yards, one the abandoned radio tower known as "Top Of The World" and if you saw the view from up there you would know why. From one side of the mountain you can see all of conejo and parts of LA and literally just turn around and theres santa monica staring at you its really an incredible sight to see. The other spot was only a few minutes away and was actually the old Etnies Skateboarding pool, and was just covered in amazing art everywhere you turn. 

"The Swing"

 Last sunday i was hanging out with some friends from Ventura who always have something fun and creative to do. Sure enough they had the idea to take me to "the swing" which was basically a rope tied to a tree with a ledge and a 30 foot drop if you let go...

China Town

I had the oppurtunity to go to chinatown LA the other day with one of my good friends. Unfortunately chinatown is more like chinastreet but on the upside there is great food, cheap clothes, and if you know the right place lots of fireworks. I did get a few shots and we looked at alot of graffiti which is always promising in Los Angeles so here they are. enjoy

Day 2

Its day two of my blog and im still kinda gettin used to the idea but here we go, im goin to start working on taking more "set up" shots, alot of what ive been doing has been landscapes and city scapes but not alot of stuff where i have to work on my own lighting so thats what im gonna try to turn my focus on. i have also been reading a friends blog and am thinking about starting a project of my own so i will have more to say about that next time.
